Making Reservations
Country K9 Pet Resort & Spa is operated like a human hotel and we require a reservation for your pets stay. When you make a reservation, please remember that we are holding accommodations exclusively for your pet. When we reach our capacity, we have to refuse reservation requests and turn business away. We have a very generous cancellation policy and will be as flexible as possible. If your plans change and you no longer need your reservation, please let us know so we may offer those accommodations to someone else in time for them to make plans to go away also. Someday that person may be you! Because your pet’s accommodations are reserved, boarding charges begin on the day of drop-off, regardless of the time of arrival.
- Please plan ahead! We fill up quickly in the summers months, so if you have large dogs, we recommend that you do not wait until the last minute to make your reservations.
- When we reach capacity, we can place you on our waiting list. If you make other arrangements after being placed on our wait list, please call and let us know so we may move on to the next client.
- New Customers will need to provide the following information when making a reservation:

- Your pet should be at least 4 months old prior to boarding so they are current with the series of required vaccinations.
- Although we do not place an upper age limit on the pets we accept for boarding, we ask that you consider your older pet's special needs. Some older pets have a harder time being away from their home and family and will stress harder than younger pets. We encourage you to find in-home care for your older pets for their comfort. If you have an older pet with a medical condition, then boarding with their veterinarian may be the better option.
- If your pet has been experiencing any symptoms such as drastic change in weight, change in appetite, excessive drinking and urination, excessive panting or mobility issues, please have your pet evaluated by your veterinarian and make sure they are healthy prior to boarding.
- All boarding reservations require a $25.00 deposit per pet to hold and guarantee boarding reservations which will be credited to your invoice at check-out. Cancellation is required by 3:00pm 2 days prior to non-holiday reservations and by 3:00pm 3 days prior to holiday reservations (New Year’s, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas). Failure to cancel your reservation per our policy or being a “no show” will result in the forfeiture of your deposit deposit or a $25.00 charge to your account.
- Submitting a reservation online does not guarantee a spot for your pet. Once your submission is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with a reservation number. Please be patient as our online reservations are manually processed and are not instantly delivered to us. At your earliest convenience, please call our office to provide your credit card information if we do not have it already on file or you may pay online when prompted.
- We recommend that you tell your veterinarian office the name of your boarding facility and that you give permission for treatment in the event your pet needs to been seen.
- It is your responsibility to make sure that your pet is up-to-date on the required vaccinations and to provide proof of vaccinations. Please fax your pet(s) vaccination records to (540) 722-0189, email them to ck9reservations@gmail.com or drop them off during our lobby hours prior to your arrival so we can ensure that your pet(s) have the required vaccinations to board. You can also upload your pet's vaccination records:
