Inclement Weather Policy

Country K9 will do our best to keep our lobby open for business to serve our customers. However, in the event of inclement weather, selected services may be disrupted, delayed and/or close entirely due to limited staff and safety concerns.

The kennel road is not state maintained and we do our best to keep the road plowed. Plowing a gravel road is different than plowing a paved road. You do not remove all of the snow as this also removes the gravel. We follow best practices of waiting to plow until at least 2” of snow has accumulated and leaving a layer of snow on top of the surface. Please do not expect the gravel portion of the road to be plowed bare.

• If you want to pick-up early, please give us plenty of notice, especially if your pet is scheduled for a bath.
• Due to being short staffed and safety concerns we will not be able to offer after hours pick-ups during a snow event.
• If you are worried about driving on the gravel portion of the road, please call and we can make arrangements to meet you at the end of the paved portion of the road for drop-offs/pick-ups.
