Friends Fur Life Rescue
Friends Fur Life Rescue is made up of animal lovers who work to find FUREVER homes for homeless pets. They are a 501(c)3 status, no-kill rescue and rely on the donations of their supporters. Even though they are currently raising money for their physical building, they are still rescuing those animals in need. Their rescues will be taken into foster homes to prepare them for adoption. Their main focus is for those animals that have been abused, neglected, or abandoned as they live by their motto: "Because they ALL deserve a furever home". They also have an animal food bank for families going through difficult times called Bella's Bounty.
At Friends Fur Life Rescue, they are always in need of fosters, volunteers, and those willing to help out when needed. If you're interested in making a difference in the life of a homeless animal, please contact them! Check out their Events page for where they'll be and all the fundraisers they have planned! It is their heart's work to help those facing certain death, such as; those on the euthanasia list at local shelters, abandoned animals, those that have been abused, and hoarding cases. These are usually the ones that have been forgotten by society but they feel they are worth saving no matter their breed or situation. They usually don't take in owner surrenders. |

Rural Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization whose mission is to save the lives of dogs in high-kill shelters in rural areas with euthanasia rates of 80% or higher. They save stray dogs, who can be euthanized 72 hours after they are found, and owner surrenders, who can be euthanized immediately if the shelter is full. Most of these dogs’ lives depend on a dedicated network of volunteers and rescues to save them from a certain death. |
Tara's House Animal Rescue
Tara’s House is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Their mission is to rescue and provide care and compassion for our pets while working to place them in permanent, loving homes. The pets they rescue arrive at Tara’s House from high kill shelters, many with little to no funding for their own adoption programs. These shelters rely on Tara’s House to save these adoptable pets from certain euthanasia. |
